I’ve had my CNC for about 2 years, and occasionally need some technical support. This company has superior customer service. They always resolve my questions and do so very professionally. This I find missing in todays world, I fortunately. I recently called to get some assistance with virtual zero, as part of my ready to control software. Scott was very knowledgeable and helpful. He took time to explain the process and followed up with a great instructional video. Thanks for providing a positive customer experience!

I've now had my Shark HD4 for over 10 months. The support group has been great to work with and most of my problems were caused by me learning the machine. My only outstanding problem is in the 3D module. During one of my projects, the controller when out of control and the router plunged a hole in my project and into the table bed. The support group had me change the firmware and I tried to rerun the project, it did the same thing, so I now have two holes in the table bed. I'm still working with support to resolve this problem. Until this happened, I would of rated this as 5 stars.

This review concerns Next Wave CNC tech/customer support. I wanted to tram my HD510 but could not find any information, so I opened a ticket asking for assistance. The next day I received a pdf file with instructions. I wrote back thanking them and mentioned that my spindle was sporadically making a high screeching noise. The next day I was informed that a new spindle was being shipped to me. This is the kind of tech/customer support that Next Wave should be proud of. It was a pleasure working with them and would recommend their products and the company behind them.

I recently purchased an Ext. HD4 with all the bells and whistles. It’s an awesome machine. Shipping was fast and sales customer service was exceptional. It even came with a free WC Spindle. Unfortunately, my unit arrived with a faulty controller unit that made my Y axis inoperable. A hurricane rolled through and it took almost another week to get a replacement controller. Overall Tech Support was helpful getting a replacement. My only other issue is that I purchased a laser kit and found out last week that they just rolled out a new more powerful laser. I wish that I would have been told because I would have waited to get the newest laser.

In my experience of both trouble shooting tech support over the phone and replacement parts shipped to me timely, both experiences were excellent. Nextwave Automation has been outstanding. Ive had my Shark over 5 years with less than 100$ spent on parts over that time span. I cant say enough about this is how a company should run.... Thank you

My Piranha XL was not working for me. Part of it was operator error, but a big part was mismatching firmware versions and not understanding how the upgrades have to be done. After a few deep e-mail discussions with Stephen, he figured out where I was and sent me complete instructions on how to get everything up to the correct level. That solved all my problems and saved me hours getting Christmas presents ready last week (serving board with 77 holes, completed in about 2 minutes!). Thanks for the quick response and good understanding of where I was so as to give me the right information to get everything going!

I bought one of their factory refurbished Shark's and the 2 watt laser attachment. This has been such an upgrade from the x-carve that I had before. I am so glad I made the upgrade! When I get my shop fully put together I will look at getting one of the bigger machines, but for now I will just have to tile my projects through the provided vCarve program. Shipping is quick and the staff is always responsive when I send in a request for support.

I recently purchased a Piranha XL. I am a complete novice CNC user and needed some "hand-holding" during my first projects using both the laser and the router. I have had several conversations with the support people at Next Wave Automation and have never been disappointed! I have worked with 3 different members of the support team and they have all been excellent!
